PARENT WORKSHOP: Navigating Explosive Anger and Frustration (May 16)

1–2 minutes

he powerful emotions of anger and frustration have important work to do to effect change on our circumstances.  In young children, these eruptions can be all consuming and disrupt family function.

Find out how to harness the work of this emotion in constructive ways and come alongside and redirect this energy when the frustration has gone foul.  Instead of following our child’s explosions of anger, we get to keep our cool as we navigate our children and ourselves through the storm.

Parent Consultant Rebecca Janke will lead this interactive session exploring the common expressions of frustration and anger, as well as the conditions for these eruptions, and help develop practical strategies to address them.

Parents will also learn how make room for our own eruptions in ways that preserve our attachments with our children.

DATE: Monday, May 16
TIME: 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.
PLACE: Virtual (Zoom)

This session is FREE, but space is limited so you must register by Friday, May 13 HERE.
