Dear Douglas Annex Families,
Today’s unexpected school closure leaves a possibility of another closure tomorrow with snow and freezing rain expected later today. With the greatest regrets, the PAC has made the decision to postpone tomorrow’s hot lunch until Friday Jan 26 to avoid all possibility of being charged for the full order as this would be the penalty for cancelling on the same day.
We know that you have received a Munch-a-Lunch reminder email about hot lunch tomorrow but please disregard it. If the Annex is open tomorrow, please ensure your child goes to school with a lunch. Our sincerest apologies for the confusion and the great inconvenience the decision may pose but it was made with deep consideration for all of the potential negative impacts.
